Its going to be temporairy. I have a small web designing business and I am looking design a site for my business to attract customers.
I am just going to put my basic information and my contact.
I don’t care if its a weird web address because I am just going to link to it.
I am using dreamweaver to create this site. So I something I can just upload it via FTP.
Is it possible?
I have uploaded an .swf file to my site and when I embed it into my sites pages it won’t play all the way through, but if I download the .swf file and play it from my computer it plays all the way through. What’s the problem. Please help…
Executable programs that are to be executed online are a security concern and most will not allow them on a server. Zip files can be uploaded with no problem for downloading.

What would my go daddy user name be for my ftp upload? What am I doing wrong?
its not public_HTML… public_html isn’t for uploads and downloads it holds the information used on forums
the site itself has an upload capability where the user uploads something, than it must be ok’d by a site administrator (me) and all I do is look it over and approve it. There is no FTP or anything like that, it is done directly through the GUI of the site itself

Get an FTP program & use it to upload to your site’s directories. You should read the directions your host ipowerweb has for it’s customers.
