I’m running some websites with shared hosting providers for $10/month. I’ve been experiencing some down times. The tech support tell me there’s nothing wrong with my site. The server experienced heavy loads from other accounts sharing the same space. If I purchased VPS, would I experience the same problem?
I want to make website for free. I don’t mind if the web site’s name is in the html. But, I want to use my own layout that I made. Does anyone know of a good site I can use?
I have 2 websites, one for weather information and one I keep for my church youth group. Would I be able to host them both on 1 server or would I need 2 servers? The traffic isn’t high, so per year together I probably get about 1500 visits at MOST with my weather site and youth group site combined. Or could I do it with my home PC?
Im looking for something cheap and reliable. but i hate godaddy
VPS hosting will allow to to use more server resources because you will get your own section of the server and not share it with anyone else. You can also set up your own mail server and other software as you wish.

I am looking to get a domain name and web hosting for the site i built. It is for my PC repair business. Its a small business so i don’t need anything extravagant or anything that will not be worth the cost. I check out go daddy for the domain and they seemed reasonable but the web hosting was pretty expensive. Any suggestions?
I am looking at choosing a hosting plan with a web hosting company. They are offering a ‘Dedicated IP’ at an additional cost. Is this any good? I don’t understand why it’s better than using the standard ‘Shared IP’.
