I don’t need ecommerce.
I would want at least one e-mail address.
Storage: a lot
Data transfer: a lot
i don’t know a lot about this kind of stuff so that also may give you information
I’m looking for maximum storage, cheap prices and a nice handful of scripting/database support…
Anyone?
I would agree with Mercuri, plus your internet provider will see the extra bandwidth your server brings in (assuming your site works) and will charge you extra.
Depending on how popular it is and how much data is uploaded or downloaded they can ask you to pay a business fee.
So, keep your bandwidth low and no problems. If it goes high your rates will go up.
I have heard that hosting your own DNS can be done on your own xp based PC and can increase internet speed.pls Help me.
And pls don’t say use open DNS or something lick that i already know that.
I want sell some grandmother’s vintage items online.
I want to start a online business and need a: domain, website builder, SSL certification, shopping cart and merchant account. Ease of use, features and price are most important. Has anyone used GoDaddy (and their Quick shopping cart) to build and run a business? As far as prices they seem a bit cheaper than some other places.
Also, when a website says: No HTML Experience Required, can you still use HTML to make your own site from scratch? And if you do make your site from scratch, can you still use their tools (forums, ecommerce, etc.) on your website?
Which hosting company offer the fastest server for database-driven site?
I’m currently using Yahoo Hosting and i think the overall page loading and query is slow as i have a large database and a lot of data to output.
Does changing hosting company make a big difference in speed of page loading? is yahoo hosting really bad? because im not allowed to use .htaccess or include fuction either.
which hosting should i choose? is godaddy.com FAST? i just want a fast, FAST hosting service no matter the cost.
is dedicated hosting the best? what are some companies that offer them?
i hear ppl recommend hosting sites like 100hosting..etc. are those reliable? or fast
i kind of only trust the big brand.
