I am 14 years old right now. For a while i wanted to be a phsycologist, but then i decided that i dont want to deal with other people’s problems. I love to cook, and i am really good at it, so i wanted to have my own cooking show but i dont want to be around food all my life and show buisness is very tricky and unreliable, so i wanted a talk show host but that is also unreal and unreliable.So i want to get paid really good and i dont want to dedicate my life to the job and at the same time i want to dress nice to it and not just wear suits. I wanted to be a designer but they dont get paid a lot and i am not really that creative. So now i am thinking of a pidiatrition, so who gets paid better a phsycologist or pideotrition? Also and job tips for me?How much do pediotritions do get paid a year? Approximetly?

im an artist, and a dedicated one at that. but i have no way to get my art on the internet. no scanner or digital camera etc. so i was hoping to get photoshop, flash, or painter or some program like it so i can host my art on the net. any ideas or links?
I am building a server that will be used as a virtual machine hosting server, using Microsoft Hyper-V as the virtual server hosting OS. The hardware I am using will be a motherboard with capacity for 6 SATA 10,000 RPM disks. I can set them up using RAID 1 or RAID 5. I cannot use a mix of different RAID options for the disks. I must choose either RAID 1 or RAID 5 for all the disks. Which option would be best for performance? I plan to create 10 virtual machines on the system. I know I would have more total disk capacity using RAID 5 instead of RAID 1 (mirroring), but am wondering if there is a benefit to using RAID 1 for the entire system, in regards to general performance. The virtual machines will be a mix of workstations, database servers, web servers, and other systems. The host OS (MS Hyper-V) uses a very small amount of disk space. The a majority of space will be dedicated the various virtual servers running. There is no need to send me links to websites describing RAID (I know about the various general benefits of the different types of RAID). I am interested in hearing from someone who has implemented a RAID configuration when setting up a virtual hosting server and have some good advice regarding which option offers best performance.
I’m sick of waiting 20 minutes for my oulook to download 1,000 spam a day. Is there a hosting provider out there that provide spam blockers on the server side so I only download white-listed emails?
They would also have to have the challenge question feature so that people that weren’t whitlisted knew that their email wasn’t received and they have a chance to get through. It should also have a reviewable junk folder… but server side.
Any one know of such a website and/or email service provider like that? (Yahoo’s SpamGuard plus doesn’t have challenge question)
You would need a static IP, so your IP won’t change. It is ok if t is a dynamic IP, but you know exactly your current IP so you can access your server form other place.
When you said a hosting server, do you mean the web server? If you do, then you can install Apache web server. Create your webpage, and you are done. You just type your IP from any computers in the world, it will display your web page. If you need a domain, you need to forward your domain to your IP.
I’m looking into starting a social community website (using SQL, PHP etc.) and was wondering what sort of web hosting package I would need to host the site? Do i need a dedicated server? Can I use a virtual one? What should I look out for from my host? I cant predict rapid and massive traffic when i launch it, but I’m being optimistic and hoping to sign up several 1000 users monthly (the host would therefore need to cope with several users being on-line at once). Can anyone give me any advice on this? What sort of traffic can I expect? What sort of band width should I look for?What size of webspace should I look for?Users will be able to upload photos, videos and music on the site too (with limitations).And possibly unlimited emails!

I work as a web design artist in my spare time. I have a website that host’s my art gallery and payment section. The company that hosts my website, Iweb technologies, (Somewhere in Canada), has been quite shaky in their web hosting. I contacted them on Wednesday night via email, because I have been unable to log into my server’s control panel. It seems that I have been locked out of my own dedicated server. I don’t know why.
My account manager said that they would get back to me, but did not that day. So I waited until Friday morning and sent her a friendly email, inquiring as to the status of my server. Still no reply as of now.
I am beginning to hear some bad things about their company, and have hoped it is not true. However, I can not help but wonder, based on what I am experiencing myself. Should I ditch them and get a new host? I don’t know what to do, I just know that I am irritated by their service as of now. Any suggestions?
